Originally from China, ginger is one of the oldest known medicinal plants. It is used in traditional Indian and Chinese medicine. Ginger root is widely used as an aromatic tonic as well as for its ability to stimulate blood circulation. It also helps regulate hydration thanks to its polysaccharide and amino acid content.

Originally from Asia, Ginkgo biloba is a tree known for its longevity and extraordinary resistance. The active ingredients responsible for the virtues of Ginkgo biloba - flavonoids and terpenoids - have circulatory tonic properties which give the skin a brighter complexion. Its antioxidant properties protect cells against free radicals. They also promote the formation of cells producing collagen fibers (fibroblasts), which provide support to the skin.

Jeju Jori™ made from bamboo grass (Sasa Quelpaertensis), a plant endemic to Jeju Island in South Korea. Long used in traditional medicine and in the form of a drink, this plant is a rich source of phenolic antioxidants such as p-coumaric acid which give it its lightening and skin blemish-correcting properties.

Je ne peux plus m’en passer. La seule crème qui m’évite la sensation de tiraillements. Et en plus il s’agit d’un produit naturel…

La crème Metal a une texture très riche. Elle egalement tres onctueuse. Quand je l'applique sur mon visage j'en profite pour faire un petit massage de la peau pour la faire bien pénetrer…je sens que ma peau est bien hydratee, et ce pour toute la journée.

The TCM plants we have selected have been specifically chosen for the desired effects on a skin type , based on the literature and research carried out to date. Some of these plants are also used by other major cosmetic brands today.

These active ingredients are extracted by decoction, that is to say in an aqueous phase, without solvent, carried out by our partner herbalist. This is the original dosage form in TCM and reputed to be the most effective form of extraction.

All the active ingredients of modern cosmetology used in our formulas are objectified , that is to say they have been the subject of in-depth studies which have demonstrated their effectiveness. The NUENCE team has chosen to incorporate them into its products at the rate recommended by suppliers for optimal effectiveness (no underdosing).

The claims made on NUENCE products have been validated by usage tests . This means that a consumer panel of 20 volunteers validated the effects of the products on their skin according to the rigorous protocol of an independent laboratory.
In Europe, testing cosmetic products on animals has been prohibited by law since 2004 and testing cosmetic ingredients has also been prohibited since 2013.
