TIGER GRASS (Ji Xue Cao) -

Semi-aquatic plant native to Asia. Many applications: blood circulation, anxiety, liver protection. TCM: cold nature, tropism towards the Liver, Kidneys and Spleen, category of plants which evacuate heat and eliminate toxicity. Cosmetic: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Widely used in the treatment of wounds, stretch marks, itching and burning of the skin. Ability to hydrate, soothe, and repair damaged skin thanks to its very rich nutritional composition in triterpenes.

DANDELION (Pu Gong Ying) -

About 2,000 species, including Pu Gong Ying, which grows in the grasslands of China and Mongolia. Whole plant harvested in the fall, then dried. TCM: bitter and sweet flavor, effect towards the Liver and Stomach. Eliminates heat, used to cleanse the entire body and eliminate toxins. Cosmetics: Natural restorative treatment for damaged and weakened skin. Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-seborrheic properties - long used to improve complexion and treat many skin problems such as acne, psoriasis or eczema.

BAKUCHIOL -

Bakuchiol is a 100% natural active ingredient extracted from babchi, the seed of which is particularly rich in coumarin. Widely used in Ayurveda as well as in TCM, it is now a natural alternative to retinol, thanks to its antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-seborrheic and anti-inflammatory properties. Its benefits are suitable for acne problems (rebalances sebum production) or other skin imperfections. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, 2 structural proteins responsible for the suppleness and firmness of the skin (anti-aging effect).

WHITE PEONY (Bai Shao Yao) -

Traditional floral symbol of China. The multiple virtues of its root make it a very popular medicinal plant. TCM: nourishes the blood, consolidates the yin, nourishes the Liver, calms pain. Has a reputation in China as an anti-aging herb and is very frequently used to promote beauty. Cosmetic: calming, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties thanks to paeoniflorin. Used in herbal medicine and cosmetics to relieve, soothe and reduce the severity of certain skin conditions.

SACRED LOTUS (Lian zi xin) -

The sacred Lotus is a symbolic aquatic plant widely celebrated in Asia. It is very popular in traditional medicines where the different parts of the plant are highlighted: the leaves, the flower, the roots, the stems etc. TCM: Lotus germ is recommended to drain the Fire of the Heart, relieve irritability and promote calm and relaxation. Cosmetic: The bioactive constituents it contains (including neferine with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant potential) act effectively on nervousness and help improve mood and spiritual well-being.

Its use dates back more than 5,000 years in Korea and China, then considered a miracle cure for all ills. • TCM: called “the root of life”, powerfully tones the original Yuan-Qi energy, the Spleen and the Lungs. Adaptogenic plant, helps the body respond to attacks and imbalances. Restorative and immunostimulating properties, used in cases of physical fatigue. • Cosmetic: contains a large quantity of ginsenosides which activate skin microcirculation. Cosmetic: Its ability to stimulate blood circulation and promote the elimination of toxins gives the skin a firmer, elastic appearance and a brighter complexion. GINGKO BILOBA (Bai Guo) -

Originally from Asia, Ginkgo biloba is a legendary tree known for its longevity (up to 1000 years) and its extraordinary resistance. The oldest tree in the world, symbol of life and fertility. TCM: the seeds are used mainly for their tropism towards the Lungs, they calm coughs and asthma. Cosmetic: When used externally, active ingredients such as ginkgolides improve blood flow. These circulatory tonic properties give the skin a radiant complexion. Jeju Jori™ is an active ingredient derived from bamboo grass (Sasa Quelpaertensis), a plant endemic to Jeju Island in South Korea. Long used in traditional medicine and in the form of a drink, this plant is a rich source of phenolic antioxidants such as p-coumaric acid which give it its lightening and skin blemish-correcting properties.

BLACKBERRY (Sang Shen) -

The white mulberry is a fruit tree native to China which is widely cultivated for its leaves, which are used to feed silkworms - but also for its berries which are very popular with gourmands. TCM: dried blackberries used to alleviate fatigue (tonic effect): they nourish the Yin, invigorate the Blood, strengthen the Liver and tone the Kidneys. Helps the body get rid of toxins. Cosmetic: anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, provided by the numerous nutrients it contains: iron, vitamin C, flavonoids and polysaccharides (carbohydrates).

LICORICE ROOT (Gan Cao) -

Grown in northwest China, licorice root is known worldwide for its mild, sweet flavor and its use as a natural food ingredient. TCM: tones Qi, supports natural defenses and contributes to respiratory comfort. Cosmetics: Natural saponin gives licorice its anti-inflammatory properties. Other active ingredients are particularly interesting for the care of mature skin: glabridin, lightening and antioxidant, and licoricidin which blocks UVA-induced photoaging by trapping free radicals.

HYALURONIC ACID -

Considered the most powerful moisturizing molecule known to date. It behaves like a small sponge capable of retaining almost a thousand times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for the skin's shine, hydration and plump appearance. It helps reduce wrinkles, stabilize the structure of the skin (thickening of the dermis) and help smooth the skin texture. We have selected an active ingredient with a very low molecular weight, which makes it even more effective in depth. It also activates the synthesis of collagen, responsible for skin tone.
